One of my many trip highlights was buying and having you install the 2-1 SuperTrapp pipe on my 2008 Electra Glide Classic. What a HUGE difference it made on the second half of my trip!!! You replaced my Rinehart True-Duels that I loved, but the performance just wasn't there. Their good pipes with great sound, but I always noticed subpar performance, especially when compared to Kirk, my Harley buddy with the same motor and 2-1 SuperTrapp.
When riding through the mountainous and windy western states my bike seemed to be struggling and was non-responsive. But after getting the 2-1 SuperTrapp installed, my bike had NO PROBLEM cutting through the wind and climbing those mountainous grades.
I am truly a believer in the SuperTrapp product and I've been spreading the news every chance I get!!! Thanks so much for providing me with a phenomenal product!!!"
- Your New SuperTrapp Believer, Johnny Thomas
What's your experience with our pipes? We'd love to hear from you too!

When I purchased my 2008 Polaris RZR I wasn't planning on doing any modifications. I was just going to ride and enjoy the thing. Not my usual character profile....I'm usually right in there to see what I can do make it faster, stronger or at least better looking.
But then the shootouts started coming out and people started talking. One article in particular mentioned real world results of being able to attain a specified speed (mph) in 30', 40' and even up to 50' sooner with an aftermarket pipe.
So, now I'm interested!
The next thing is the sound levels.....I have been around the sport long enough to know that one of the things that Non-Off-road riders dislike is the noise levels that some machines put out!! That is one of the things that I like about the SuperTrapp MudSlinger. At idle, it is very close to the db level of the stock pipe and doesn't seem that bad at all when accelerating hard. The stock pipe has a sound that most people would describe as a "Drone" sound. The SuperTrapp Pipe changes that to a more of a traditional sound.
Installation was relatively easy. When complete, you will find it very stable and secure.
Performance wise....it definitely feels faster and has a more pleasant tone. I spoke with the Tech Support people at SuperTrapp and they told me that an aftermarket fuel controller WAS NOT NEEDED with their MudSlinger pipe. That just cut my investment down by 1/2 !!
So, to wrap it up.........buy the pipe, install the pipe....go faster.

We are pleased to announce that our tunable disc based products are compatible with the new EPA emission certified engines. SuperTrapp exhaust system’s inherent tunability uniquely provides you with the ability to meet the flow characteristics required to maintain emissions certification with these new engines. They also let you adjust the sound level to reach noise level compliance. SuperTrapp is, and will remain dedicated to producing products that meet or exceed these EPA standards and look forward to the challenge of helping our customers meet the increasingly restrictive emissions standards to come.
Specific SuperTrapp products that are applicable to the emissions certified engines are their SuperTrapp 2:1 SuperMegs, 2:1 Silent Series, 2:2 FatShots Series, Megaphone Series and Internal Disc Series. All of these exhausts utilize SuperTrapp tunable disc technology which lets you adjust flow and sound levels by adding or removing discs. Adding discs increases exhaust flow and sound. Removing discs reduces exhaust flow and sound. This tunable feature lets the builder configure the exhaust for their specific requirements.
Our mission is to help small custom bike builders maintain compliance with the rules and regulations of the EPA’s letter of guidance dated July 25, 2006 CISD-06-15 (MC). New motor vehicles and engines must be designed, built and equipped to meet stringent anti-smog standards.
